Memorandum

The Tripura JBIC project has now reached the stage of full implementation in the field and keeping the same in view it has been decided that the territorial Conservators of Forests posted at Kumarghat and Udaipur shall be responsible to distribute the budget to the DFOs and shall be monitoring the work under the overall control of the Chief Executive Officer & Project Director. While carrying out the work the Conservators of Forests shall also finalize and review the work programmes, progress of works of the Chief Project Officers working under their control. The financial powers to be exercised by the territorial Conservators of Forests and the Divisional Forest Officers have already been notified vide no. F. 22-3/For-JBIC/I&P/14707-26 dated 7th August, 07.

2. Funds of the Project would be placed with the concerned Chief Project Officers only on receipt of the Divisionwise and itemwise allocation from the Conservators of Forests.

3. The Conservators of Forests and the Chief Project Officers while allocating the funds for individual items of works and while issuing sanction shall strictly follow the Minutes of Discussion and other guidelines and the orders of the Chief Executive Officer & Project Director.

4. This order shall take immediate effect and remain in force until further orders.
